With solar, wind, and battery storage projects greatly expanding across the Western United States, ESA...
Energy
ESA works at the forefront of the clean energy transition. We are aligned with the goals and priorities of decarbonization, both within the United States and across the globe.
We help our clients develop energy facilities that bring affordable, reliable, and accessible power to communities. We consult on a wide variety of energy project types, including solar and wind facilities, battery energy storage, green hydrogen, geothermal energy, electric and gas transmission and distribution systems, fuel-source development, hydroelectric licensing or relicensing, and facility closure or decommissioning.
We have extensive experience working with federal, state, and local agencies in the energy industry, as well as investor-owned and municipal utilities in support of license, certificate, and permit applications. We also have extensive expertise in cultural and biological resources consultation and compliance procedures and have undertaken cost-effective and expedited surveys to meet the needs of many of our private-sector clients.
ESA is involved with projects on the forefront of new and novel energy production and transmission, including green hydrogen, piloting solar panels over canals, and bringing offshore wind projects to the Pacific Coast.
Whether it’s a constraints analysis, strategic advice, baseline inventories, environmental documentation, or construction compliance, ESA has you covered.
