Liesbeth has over 20 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on the energy and renewables industry. Her experience has largely focused on environmental services for solar, wind and battery development, and she has actively engaged in natural gas and carbon capture projects.

With her background in client delivery, operations, and business development, she has served as trusted advisor, project manager, technical lead, portfolio manager, and client services lead to win and execute complex planning, permitting and environmental compliance projects. These projects have involved everything including early-stage constraints analysis, preparation of permit matrices and subsequent local, state and federal permit application support, environmental surveys and technical studies, agency consultation, mitigation planning, construction and post-construction compliance and securing habitat mitigation lands.

Recognized for her leadership and strong communication skills, she builds and manages small and large multi-disciplinary teams for a variety of clients and market sectors, and guides internal collaboration between talent, technology, and sales leads to identify hiring needs and program and technology innovation.

She is a Certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Practitioner in Stormwater Quality, and holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Science in Evolution and Ecology from UC Davis. She is a member of Women in Environment.
