On February 18, 2026, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a final rule rescinding the 2009 “findings of contribution and endangerment” for greenhouse gases (GHGs) under the Clean Air Act (CAA) and repealing all associated GHG emission standards for on-road motor vehicles and engines.
