Brian Pittman, CWB, is a senior wildlife biologist and program manager with over 29 years of professional experience leading complex biological resources, CEQA/NEPA, permitting, and environmental compliance projects throughout California. As a Certified Wildlife Biologist, Brian has extensive expertise in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, special-status species, habitat restoration, and regulatory compliance under local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations.

Brian’s career has been defined by long-standing working relationships with resource agencies, including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Regional Water Quality Control Boards. He is highly skilled at planning, executing, and overseeing projects ranging from habitat assessments and focused special-status species surveys to large-scale infrastructure, restoration, and climate resilience projects. His experience includes leading biological resources analyses for EIRs and EISs, preparing and negotiating permit applications, managing construction monitoring and mitigation programs, and providing senior-level quality assurance and strategic guidance for multidisciplinary teams.

Brian holds degrees in Environmental Studies and Biology from San José State University and U.C. Santa Cruz, respectively. He maintains multiple federal and state permits for threatened and endangered species, is an FAA‑certified UAS pilot, and is a Certified Wildlife Biologist with The Wildlife Society.
