For the first time in 40 years, the federal government—via the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ)—has revised the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). A final draft of the proposed revisions was published in the Federal Register on Friday, January 10, 2020. The final revisions were published on July 16, 2020. These revisions will take effect on September 14, 2020.

We will post updates on this blog about key changes in NEPA requirements and procedures. Please reach out to us, via the form below or through your ESA Project Manager, with your questions, comments, and concerns.
