ESA is pleased to sponsor, present, and exhibit at the 2023 Headwaters to Ocean (H2O)...
Our team brings extensive coastal processes, engineering, and planning experience to effectively assess the vulnerability of the built and natural environment based on our hazard analyses, with consideration of coastal storm damage as well as both storm event and long term shoreline erosion.
ESA offers a tailored approach to every project. We work with our clients to develop innovative and effective solutions that protect key infrastructure and build resilient, thriving, livable communities along the coast.

We have designed some of the most notable managed shoreline retreat projects on the West Coast, including Surfer’s Point, San Francisco’s Ocean Beach, and Pacifica Beach, each designed to reduce coastal hazards and maximize recreational opportunities. Along the Gulf of Mexico, we have worked with the Gulf States, counties, parishes, and federal agencies to plan and prioritize coastal restoration projects funded by the RESTORE Act.
