SCAG Climate Adaptation Guidebook Released

ESA has been working with the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) to prepare a comprehensive framework for climate adaptation planning, which will help local governments across six counties and 191 cities to prepare for the impacts of sea-level rise, extreme heat, increasingly frequent and damaging wildfires, and other climate-related hazards.

The full guidebook has just been released, providing steps cities and counties can take to better prepare their communities for climate change impacts.
