As the Geospatial Service Manager for ESA’s Southern California region, Jason supports a talented team of GIS professionals by providing oversight and project management. Jason and his team provide ESA’s technical staff with mobile data collection deployment, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), field data collection and reporting using multiple platforms, web-based applications, data visualizations, and cartographic support for technical documents.

What is your favorite ESA moment/memory so far?
So many to choose from over the past 18 years. Taking a page from the PNW, we recently had our first annual SD office kickball game. It was a wonderful time with friends, family, and colleagues. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition in SD!

What keeps you coming to work here at ESA every day?
The people. I feel fortunate to have such an amazing team to support and collaborate with every day!

What is your hidden or special talent(s)?
Although no longer hidden, singing karaoke.

​What’s your favorite thing to do when you are out of the office?
Golfing at Torrey Pines!

If you had one free hour each day, how would you use it?
Anything outdoors!
