On December 8, ESA’s Jorgen Blomberg participated as a panelist in The Trust for Public Land webinar, where the panelists presented the Vision Plan process and status for the Reimagine San Geronimo project.
As a consultant team member with WRT (the project lead) and our partner Trout Unlimited, ESA’s focus has been on planning elements associated with opportunities for creek and floodplain restoration, landscape connectivity, and ecosystem resilience on the 157-acre property, with specific goals to enhance and expand habitat for coho salmon, steelhead, and other wildlife.
The webinar offers a broad overview of the project as a whole, the benefits of conserving and restoring the land to link ecosystem functions for more robust and sustainable habitat conditions, and the many opportunities for integration of compatible recreational, educational, and interpretative elements for community and regional benefits.
