Environmental Science Associates (ESA), a leading West Coast environmental science and planning firm, announced today that PCR Services Corporation, a Southern California-based multi-disciplinary environmental consulting firm has joined ESA. The merger supports ESA’s strategy to deepen our technical expertise and broadens our reach as we continue to meet growing client demands throughout Southern California.

“PCR Services Corporation is an elite 40+ year firm, similar to ESA. We’ve worked together enough to appreciate that we share the same values including an enthusiasm for accomplishing work that matters, a commitment to resolving complex environmental challenges, and developing creative solutions that benefit the communities where we live and work. Our two firms complement one another and we each capture a unique portion of the Southern California marketplace. The merger was a logical step for both firms in formalizing that relationship and expanding our combined capabilities and service offerings to our clients,” said Gary Oates, President of ESA.

Gregory Broughton, President and founder of PCR Services Corporation stated, “By joining ESA, PCR will provide our clients with significantly expanded staff resources and technical capabilities. Further, our staff will have added opportunities to expand into other markets, services, and geographies to better serve our clients.”

PCR, now known as ESA PCR, is a multi-disciplinary environmental consulting firm serving public and private clients for more than 40 years.
