Maury Ballif

Maury Ballif serves as ESA’s Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 25 years of financial leadership experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. He is recognized for driving sustainable business growth, guiding team development, and delivering strong financial performance. With expertise spanning all core CFO functions—including financial and risk management, facilities oversight, and mergers and acquisitions—Maury is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, people-centered workplace that supports both operational excellence and ESA’s employee-ownership culture.

Before joining ESA, Maury was CFO at an engineering firm, where he played a pivotal role in leading through a period of significant growth, substantially increasing both revenue and profitability during his nine-year tenure. Earlier in his career, he held progressively senior finance roles at other firms, deepening his insight into financial strategy for large, complex organizations. Maury holds an Executive MBA from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
