Margaret Clancy, PWS
As vice president and Pacific Northwest Regional Director, Margaret has managed many of the firm’s most complex projects involving permitting and environmental compliance, ecosystem restoration, and natural resource management. Her leadership and technical expertise will continue to advance ESA’s integrated services and solutions throughout Washington and Oregon.
Margaret has more than two decades of experience managing technical studies for state resource agencies, cities and counties, transit/transportation agencies, utility providers, industries, non-profits, and private developers. She enjoys multidisciplinary projects that blend science, planning, policy development, and public outreach. Whether helping local jurisdictions update and implement critical area ordinances, developing shoreline master programs, leading initiatives related to mitigation effectiveness, characterizing watershed conditions, or working on Puget Sound recovery projects, Margaret balances competing objectives and fulfills client goals.
Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Vermont. She is a Certified Professional Wetland Scientist by the Society of Wetland Scientists and holds a Wetland Science and Management Certification from the University of Washington.
