Lisa Kay

As Chief Growth Officer for ESA, Lisa Kay partners with the firm’s executive and senior leadership teams to shape ESA’s long-term growth trajectory. She brings together strategy, markets, talent, and operational discipline to strengthen the firm’s competitive standing and expand its impact across six markets. Lisa also serves as ESA’s Water Market Leader.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in the environmental consulting and A/E/C industry, Lisa is known for transforming complex organizations into aligned, future-ready enterprises. She has held senior executive roles including President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Growth Officer, where she scaled national practices, led major strategic pursuits, and built the growth infrastructure that supports long-term performance. Her leadership includes successful integration of acquired firms, development of award-winning cultures recognized for employee engagement, and the advancement of business strategies that position organizations for sustained success.

Lisa brings deep expertise in driving growth both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. She has led double digit organic growth, integration planning, aligned cultures and systems, scaled acquired platforms, and executed the value-creation activities that support long-term performance. Known for her collaborative and people-centered leadership, she has consistently developed high-performing teams while advancing strategic growth in water, environmental policy, sustainability, and infrastructure markets.

Lisa holds a B.S. in Bio-Environmental Science from Texas A&M University.
