Toni is an aquatic biologist with more than 25 years of experience focused on the development of aquatic invasive species (AIS) management plans, water quality data planning, collection, and analysis, and data QA/QC for multiple local, state, and federal agencies.
For over two decades, Toni has supported clients in developing monitoring plans for AIS, including using eDNA as an early detection monitoring tool for invasive mussels. She has led and supported the development of integrated aquatic plant management plans and overseen their implementation using a variety of management tools. This work has been published in multiple peer reviewed articles and chapters.
Her work has also consisted of limnological sampling in lakes and reservoirs, and the collection of multiple chemical and biological data on large rivers. In particular, on-site collection of water quality parameters, conducting field audits, and providing QA/QC support for laboratory and in situ water quality parameters. Toni has also assisted in preparing the QAPPs for a suite of water quality parameters (e.g., continuous temperature monitoring nutrients, metals, physiochemical).
