Robin has more than 20 years of experience as a cultural resources specialist, with extensive experience working with numerous local, state, and federal agencies across the West Coast, Mountain West, and Southeast. His multifaceted expertise includes archaeology, cultural anthropology, history, and effective project and people management.

His work has ranged from feasibility studies to data recovery, to developing Programmatic Agreements. He has conducted and acted as Principal Investigator for a large number of cultural resources surveys, archaeological evaluative testing, and archaeological data recovery, with his projects supporting compliance with: National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA, including California Assembly Bill 52 [AB 52]), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) Sections 106 and 110, U.S. Department of Transportation Section 4(f), Clean Water Act (Section 404), Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (Section 408), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission relicensing, and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, among others.

As Cultural Resources Program Manager for the Delta Region, he oversees a team of archaeologists who provide a wide range of technical analyses and environmental documentation, from archaeological monitoring to archaeological data recovery, for compliance with the NHPA, NEPA, CEQA (including AB 52), throughout California.

A Registered Professional Archaeologist, Robin meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Historic Preservation Qualifications Standards for Archaeology and History, and the Society for California’s Archaeology Professional Qualifications for Principal Investigator.
