For this reason, she is often called upon to evaluate complex and controversial projects requiring rigorous analysis and attention to detail.
Luci has managed and contributed to environmental documentation for a variety of project types, including waste management, transportation infrastructure, corporate campuses, institutional, residential, and mixed-use developments in California’s coastal, urban, and mountain environs. Key among her portfolio of complex and controversial projects is her leadership of waste management and remediation projects. Projects include the CEQA compliance for the siting of new landfills in San Diego County, the closure and post-closure activities of the Big Bear Sanitary Landfill, and remediation of contaminated sites like the communities surrounding the Exide Battery Recycling Plant in Vernon, the Kast Tank Farm in Carson, and the Santa Susana Field Laboratory in Simi Hills.
