As Senior Vice President and Strategic Business Development Director, Julie leads ESA’s efforts to enhance client growth and business development, increase market presence, and advance the firm’s objectives. A veteran practitioner in the AEC industry, Julie is renowned for her ability to understand client needs, building close, personable and attentive relationships with clients, and fostering collaborative partnerships with teaming-partners. She has a deep knowledge of environmental challenges across aviation, transportation, water supply and community development, and collaborates closely with clients to create innovative, effective and practical solutions.
Previously working as ESA’s Southeast Regional Director, Julie has more than 27 years of experience working in support of public and private projects, and provides clients a full range of environmental services, from planning through design, to construction and post-construction compliance. She is experienced in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance; mitigation planning and implementation, including Uniform Mitigation Assessment Methods, listed species coordination, Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) assessments, wetland delineation; and the application of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
She holds a Master of Science in biology from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science in zoology from the University of Florida. She is an FAA Qualified Airport Wildlife Biologist, and is certified as a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Inspector and Trainer.
