John provides expert project management, software design, and engineering services for projects related to water resources and natural resource management. His water expertise includes stormwater management, water accounting, and watershed management. He has managed and led teams delivering technical services including custom software development, cloud services, systems migrations and systems integrations.
John led the teams that developed foundational water management platforms including Stormwater Tools and Open Water Accounting. John is also a registered professional engineer in the State of Oregon. Prior to working in the technology realm, he worked for 11 years as a civil engineer focusing on stormwater system planning, green infrastructure analysis, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling.
John leads our work for clients including Orange County Public Works, City of Portland, and Environmental Defense Fund.
