Colin is a GIS specialist with 10 years of experience providing technical support for a broad range of environmental planning and permitting projects. His project experience includes energy infrastructure and utility efforts throughout California and the greater West Coast working closely with PG&E, SDG&E, SCE, Liberty Utilities, and SCG. He has provided data management and cartographic production, project data design, spatial analysis and modeling, routing and feasibility analysis, viewshed/visibility analysis, 3D modeling and visual simulations, resources mapping, and CAD integration.
Colin has organized and managed mobile deployment and data collection using multiple platforms, such as Trimble, tablet (ArcCollector, Survey123, and Fulcrum), and Garmin interfaces. Additionally, Colin’s background fulfilling California’s PEA Aesthetics assessments have provided him the skills and experience to develop at-scale Visual Simulations that communicate technical project concepts with the general public and help to facilitate public visioning processes.
