Brian’s rare combination of systems expertise and business acumen are a real threat to inefficient practices lurking at client sites everywhere. He has exhibited versatility by leading software development projects that manage federal energy efficiency investments, track regional environmental programs, and support conservation planning worldwide.

Sitka has worked hard on getting one simple formula to work: interesting clients + smart employees = great projects. Brian’s ability to build and guide these high-performing teams is central to achieving our mission of ensuring healthy ecosystems for future generations. His leadership ensures Sitka’s core values and culture strengthen as we grow. Brian earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Portland State University and was honored as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar to Konstanz, Germany.

Brian lives in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains with his wife and daughter, where he swings flies for winter steelhead, hikes the Mt. Hood National Forest, and runs the homestead on the weekends.
