As ESA’s Northern California Community Planning Program Manager, Beverly leads a team of planners who bring an integrated and multifaceted environmental and social approach toward projects to create communities with lasting, positive impacts. Beverly specializes in coordinating cross-business-line, cross-regional, multidisciplinary teams on complex planning efforts.

Recognized as one of the California Top 20 Under 40 Professionals by Engineering News-Record, Beverly has 15 years of experience working with clients to shape and enhance communities through land use planning, policy research, urban design, sustainable best practices, and public engagement. As an urban planner, she has worked with private and public sector clients on a variety of U.S. and international projects that have ranged in needs, budget, and scale, from sites as small as a few urban blocks to plan areas as large as several thousand acres that span multiple jurisdictions.

Beverly earned a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University. She is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional, and remains active with the Urban Land Institute, American Planning Association, and SPUR.
