As a director and fluvial geomorphologist, Eric works extensively with state and federal agencies, municipalities, and other organizations assessing ecosystem conditions and developing restoration designs and other solutions to address river and water resource management issues.

Eric has over 21 years of experience in fluvial geomorphology, water resources, and river ecology across the Northern California region. He maintains a particular emphasis on restoration of instream and floodplain salmonid habitat and ecosystem dynamics in conjunction with multi-benefit flood and water management. His interdisciplinary academic background enables him to work collaboratively with both his engineering and ecology colleagues, as well as stakeholders and professionals from a variety of backgrounds.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Art in geography and planning, Bachelor of Science in geosciences, and Master of Science in environmental geomorphology, all from California State University, Chico. He is also a part of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), ASCE Environmental Water Resources Institute (Sacramento Chapter), Salmonid Restoration Federation, and Water Education Foundation.
