Melissa is an environmental planning professional with 20-plus years of experience delivering transportation and other public agency infrastructure projects throughout California, with a focus on northern California, including the Bay Area and Central Valley.
She focuses on delivering environmental documentation pursuant to both the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is an expert in compliance with the California Department of Transportation’s (Caltrans’) Standard Environmental Reference (SER) and Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM) requirements.
Melissa also works with clients to acquire and ensure compliance with environmental approvals and permits from a wide range of federal, state, and local regulatory agencies related to biological, cultural, and other environmental resources.
Professional affiliations include the American Public Works Association, the Association of Environmental Professionals, and WTS International where she serves as Board Member-at-large for the Sacramento Chapter.
