As an energy planner Ryan performs environmental analysis for energy transmission and generation projects across California and Nevada. His work largely focuses on assessing environmental impacts and supporting environmental review and documentation in accordance with CEQA/NEPA. His technical review specializes in biological resources, hazardous materials, geological resources, as well as recreation, public services, and agriculture.

For more than three years, Ryan has supported state agencies and local governments to navigate the necessary environmental analysis to construct utility scale solar and transmission projects. He is also experienced in field work, and conducts Rare Plant Surveys and Air Quality Monitoring.

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California Santa Barbara in Environmental Science with a concentration in Ecology and Evolution. He is also a member of the Association of Environmental Planners.
