Tahsa is a senior regulatory permitting specialist at ESA with over 10 years of experience. He manages projects involving sea level rise resilience, creek and wetland restoration, flood control, and infrastructure, and provides environmental regulatory permitting support for a variety of project types throughout California.
Prior to joining ESA, Tahsa worked as a regulator for the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board and reviewed complex permit applications for Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification, and General Waste Discharge Requirements for projects impacting streams and wetlands. He has worked closely with regulatory agencies including the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Bay Conservation and Development Commission, Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the National Marine Fisheries Service.
Tahsa holds a Bachelor of Science in environmental resources engineering from Cal Poly Humboldt.
