Craig has over 25 years of public and private experience as an environmental leader in the Northwest. He specializes in building, growing, and leading multidisciplinary teams to navigate complex regulatory challenges and successfully deliver projects.

As Biological Resources and Land Management Director for the Northwest, Craig leads the growth and development of the practice’s team of biologists, environmental scientists, and technical experts, as well as developing environmental market and business growth strategies, expanding the practice’s geographies, and overseeing project financial performance.

Prior to joining ESA, Craig worked as an operations, market, and program manager at a large engineering firm where he directed large teams of environmental professionals and managed the northwest portfolio of over 300 projects. Craig’s experience also includes managing and growing teams for the Washington State Department of Transportation, Grant County Public Utility District, and the US Forest Service. His technical expertise spans managing large and diverse environmental teams, completing and directing environmental resource studies, developing statewide environmental policies, planning and permitting, managing regulatory and construction compliance, and conducting biological resource evaluations.
