As a proven environmental compliance specialist, Katie has experience supporting a wide range of projects, providing expertise in environmental permitting at the federal, state, and local levels. She is a Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT)-certified Senior Biological Assessment (BA) Author, skilled in developing BAs to identify potential impacts to federally protected species, critical habitat, and essential fish habitat. Her proficiency in this area ensures that projects adhere to stringent regulatory requirements and minimize potential environmental impacts.

Katie is also a National Marine Fisheries Service approved Protected Species Observer (PSO), conducting surveys to identify, track, and mitigate impacts to protected species. Katie is committed to collaborating with clients to identify practical and effective solutions that meet their needs while ensuring environmental sustainability.
