As an environmental planner, Rachael develops a strategy and schedule for water resource projects across the state of California, to guide them through the CEQA/NEPA and environmental regulatory compliance process. She has over 10 years of experience collaborating with private clients, federal and state agencies, and local governments on projects involving aquatic habitat restoration and resiliency; multi-benefit flood risk reduction; groundwater sustainability; and water storage, treatment, and supply infrastructure.
Rachael earned a Master of Environmental Management in Ecosystem Science and Conservation from Duke University, and a Bachelor of Art degree in Environmental Science from a liberal arts school called Hendrix College. She is also a member of the American Planning Association (APA) and Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP).
