Johanna is an experienced project manager and biologist with an extensive history performing field assessments, permitting, and project management. She has a comprehensive and scientific knowledge of Southern California ecosystems and associated protected biological resources with expertise in relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Johanna’s years of experience in Southern California have contributed to long and effective working relationships with resource agencies. She is adept at planning and executing large and small-scale projects including, but not limited to: habitat assessment and surveys, vegetation mapping, special-status species surveys, nesting bird surveys, biological technical reports, focused survey reports, and environmental permitting preparation and implementation.
She has a degree in Biology with a focus on ecology and a minor in geography from Humboldt State University. She is a member of the California Native Plant Society, National Audubon Society, and The Wildlife Society.
