What keeps you coming to work here at ESA every day?
I’m happy to work at a company with a great community of smart and interesting people, and have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects.
What’s your favorite thing to do when you are out of the office?
I love caring for pets, plants, and other living things in and around my house! I currently have cats, many potted plants, bioactive terrarium ecosystems, and I’m experimenting with growing different types of things in container pots on my patio! I’m currently trying a few herbs, a few types of cut flowers for bouquets, and wildflower mixes in great big pots, since I don’t have space at my current place for in-ground gardening. I also am currently helping my second set of foster kittens!
If you had one free hour each day, how would you use it?
Uninterrupted tea/coffee outside in the fresh air time, and maybe with a sketchbook or a new book.
What are three skills that you bring to the ESA team? In other words, what should colleagues know to reach out to you about?
- Botanical identification
- Wetland delineation
- Habitat mapping/analysis
