Darrell is an outside director on ESA’s Board of Directors, lending his corporate leadership experience along with his expertise in leveraging organizational strengths to drive sustained profitability and innovation. He is motivated by ESA’s employee-owned culture because he believes people are a company’s greatest treasure and operates from the Simon Sinek quote, “Leadership is not about being in charge, it is about taking care of those in your charge.” He currently serves as President and CEO of Safety Center Incorporated, a social enterprise which provides a distinct set of safety training and education solutions serving customers across the Western United States. Darrell earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Santa Clara University, where he was Captain of the Men’s Basketball Team. Darrell also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Drexel University, LeBow College of Business.
