Environmental Science Associates (ESA), a leading environmental consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Christopher Warn has joined ESA as a principal managing associate, with a focus on client service, project management, and business development. Chris will be based in the firm’s Tampa office.

“Chris’s extensive experience throughout the Gulf Coast and western United States has included managing a myriad of environmental programs, from Everglades restoration and port expansion projects to watershed planning and everything in between,” said Julie Sullivan, vice president and ESA’s Southeast regional director. “With a passion for coastal restoration and long track record of successful projects, Chris will partner with ESA’s scientists, engineers, and planners to provide comprehensive solutions to our valued clients for years to come.”

A senior environmental scientist and project manager with more than 18 years of experience working on coastal and watershed studies and restoration projects, Chris brings a unique perspective to his client-focused role. He has worked on complex environmental projects in California, Florida, and across the Gulf Coast, including his involvement in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill emergency response and subsequent Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA), and he continues to be actively involved in restoration projects funded from the oil spill fines.

Chris will continue to fulfill his passion for restoration projects by supporting a wide range of environmental programs, including the National Estuary Program (NEP). He has supported NEP programs both personally and professionally for more than 10 years. He is currently working on two National Fish and Wildlife Foundation funded watershed management plans for the Mobile Bay NEP, and continues to serve as a volunteer with the Sarasota Bay NEP.
