Jeff has a 26-year background in wetland ecology, water quality, biological monitoring, and jurisdictional wetland determinations. For more than 20 years, he has been the lead field scientist for several, large permit-mandated monitoring programs resulting in the collection of millions of datapoints. Jeff’s extensive diverse qualifications and experience lend to the support of a variety of projects, including the implementation Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)–approved standard operating procedures, equipment maintenance and calibration, work scheduling, and all field activities; as well as extend to supporting land management activities, which include nuisance and/or invasive vegetation control, mechanical clearing, or prescribed burns. Jeff has a broad knowledge of Florida’s species of concern assisting with both flora and fauna surveys, including the ongoing management of the sink scrub jay population at the Yankee Lake Facility.
