Oakland Office

ESAers from our Oakland office regularly volunteer their time to the local community. In this photo a group gathered to beautify the Fruitvale Transit Village, one of ESA’s earliest transit oriented development (TOD) projects in the Bay Area—the team helped paint a mural and artfully tile trash receptacles around the BART station.

ESA’s Oakland office is a great venue to host special guests; recently Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, joined by members of Bay Planning Coalition, came by to share her vision related to Oakland’s waterfront revitalization, increasing housing affordability, and improving transit options for developing areas.

Aside from stunning views overlooking Lake Merritt, the Oakland office is just a 10-minute walk from the 19th Street/Oakland BART station.

There’s no shortage of regularly scheduled fun and relaxation in the Oakland office. Think: Lunchtime yoga every Wednesday in the conference room, Thirsty Thursdays, and Aloha Fridays.

If the opportunity arises, you'll be sure to catch the Oakland office out cheering for the home team.
