Environmental Science Associates (ESA), a leading environmental consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Brian Boxer has been promoted to Northern California Regional Director. He takes over the position held by Brian Ramos, PhD, who has been named Chief Operating Officer.

Brian’s collaborative approach and keen understanding of the environmental industry drivers specific to northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area make him a natural fit to direct ESA’s largest region composed of four offices and more than 180 professionals.”
Brian has dedicated his career to strategically addressing technically and politically complex issues of resource allocation, balancing the demands of the built and natural environment by delivering integrating solutions for environmental compliance and documentation, community planning, and project development. Brian brings more than 30 years of experience guiding clients through complex state and local planning processes. He is a noted expert in the strategic design of CEQA documents to facilitate project planning and implementation. He is also an experienced and skilled facilitator of public involvement programs related to major public development and infrastructure projects.
