Katie brings sixteen years of professional experience in archaeological and historical research and curation. She routinely serves as technical lead on multidisciplinary projects and project manager on cultural resources projects.

She conducts primary in-person research at archives and excels in accessing a wide variety of online archives to identify relevant, project-specific cultural resource issues. As a technical author, Katie regularly prepares cultural resources assessments, literature reviews, and other relevant documents including intensive historic contexts for archaeological data recovery projects. Through her Master’s in Museology, she brings expertise in artifact and archival documentation, handling, and curation. Katie surpasses the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Professional Historian and Curator.
