To fulfill their mission of leading cooperative efforts to preserve and restore the environment of the Lake Tahoe region, the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) must coordinate funding and activities among 50+ agencies and organizations, including nonprofits, cities, counties, and the States of California and Nevada.

This regionally significant coastal habitat restoration project converted fallow farm fields and abandoned mining pits into functional ecosystems by creating more than 1,043 acres of ecotones ranging from hard bottom communities and seagrass areas to fringing upland communities interspersed with isolated freshwater ponds.

These two projects are the first to be approved and under construction pursuant to the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan (DRECP).

Originally built in 1962 for the Seattle World’s Fair, Key Arena (now known as Climate Pledge Arena) at Seattle Center has been completely renovated into a world-class entertainment and sports venue hosting NHL and WNBA  sporting events, concerts, and other types of events.

The Jackson County Airport Authority is seeking to perform capital improvement projects at the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport, which would allow this regional airport to continue to serve more than 900,000 passengers each year and be poised to expand its operations.

The Pure Water Soquel Project involves construction and operation of treatment, conveyance, and recharge facilities to support advanced purification of treated municipal wastewater for groundwater basin replenishment.
