ESA successfully works with clients to meet federal goals of protection and restoration and to develop and protect shoreline resources by developing coastal management plans along the West Coast and the shoreline master programs in the state of Washington.

Our approach helps communities comply with the Coastal Zone Management Act and Shoreline Management Act through comprehensive public participation programs, integrated planning, and policy development that consider standards regulating shoreline uses and the management of natural resources. We perform shoreline inventories; create maps, public outreach, and restoration plans; and help cities and counties develop policies and programs that are grounded in sound science and planning.
