John Bartolomi Joins ESA as Director of Information Technology

Environmental Science Associates (ESA), a leading environmental consulting firm, is pleased to announce that John Bartolomi has joined the firm as Director of Information Technology (IT). John will be based out of the firm’s San Francisco headquarters.

“John’s IT leadership and management experience spans more than 20 years for professional services consulting firms in the architecture and engineering industry,” said Albert Cuisinot, ESA’s Chief Financial Officer. “John brings experience implementing technology solutions across multiple offices and regions to support efficient collaboration and project delivery, this approach enables ESA to continue providing national expertise at the local level to our clients.”

John’s career has spanned landscape design and CAD management to implementing technologies that really matter to the day to day business operations. As a former practitioner, John brings a unique understanding of how technology can be utilized to improve efficiencies that impact the bottom line. John is passionate about technology and the application of technology to improve our workplace as well as the natural and built environments. His technology experience includes enhancing system performance for engineering and design applications, improving communication through virtual meetings, implementing innovative application virtualization solutions to support global collaboration and strategically adopting cloud technologies to better meet current business needs. Prior to joining ESA, John was the Vice President/Director of Information Technology for HOK, a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm.

John holds a Masters of Business with an IT concentration from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Science in landscape architecture from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
