As senior vice president and ESA Airports national leader, Steve drives the future of our airport environmental planning and consulting services. Steve is a nationally recognized aviation noise expert who works with clients from coast to coast. His knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and policy, coupled with experience on cutting-edge projects, brings an invaluable national perspective that benefits clients on a local level.
Steve brings three decades of aviation noise analysis and control experience to commercial and general aviation airports throughout the U.S. He's provided solutions to complex noise problems at airports in San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle-Tacoma, Las Vegas, Anchorage, Sacramento, Denver, and Salt Lake City. Steve specializes in FAR Part 150 Studies, FAR Part 161 Studies, noise elements of airport master plans, EAs/EISs, Noise and Operations Monitoring System design, expert testimony, and facilitation of public meetings.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in aeronautics from Dowling College. He is an associate of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering, and a member of the Airports Council International (North America chapter), American Association of Airport Executives, (Southwest and Northwest chapters), and a former peer review group member of the Sustainable Aviation Guidance Alliance.
