Jay ZiffPrincipal Associate
As a principal associate, Jay works with a team of planners, scientists, and regulatory experts to deliver comprehensive and legally defensible environmental documents to public and private clients.
With more than 25 years of experience in CEQA and NEPA documentation and compliance, Jay has directed the documentation for many of Southern California’s most complex and challenging projects. He has been responsible for the direction and oversight of a division that in recent years has helped usher nearly 20,000 residential units, more than 10 million square feet of retail space, and a wide array of infrastructure and institutional projects through the environmental compliance process. Notable recent projects include the Huntington Library Education and Visitor Project EIR in San Marino, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures EIR on the Los Angeles County Museum of Art campus in the Miracle Mile, and an EIR for the Palladium Residences Project in Hollywood.
Jay holds a Masters in landscape architecture from the California State Polytechnic University at Pomona and a Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
