As senior vice president and strategic client and business development director, Eric partners with clients to assemble the best and brightest project teams to creatively solve complex planning, environmental, restoration, and permitting challenges. His depth of industry understanding and company knowledge based on his time as director of our Southern California region and chief operating officer translates into efficient and effective partnerships that promote technical excellence and client service.
As an urban and environmental planner, Eric has completed dozens of complex planning and environmental analyses during his 31 years of experience in planning, strategic entitlement, environmental documentation, and regulatory permitting in ESA's traditional markets. Before joining the firm, he was vice president of forward planning and environmental compliance for a national residential developer. Previously, he served as the western regional manager for planning and environmental services at a large engineering and environmental consulting firm where he oversaw four offices and a diverse staff of planners, environmental specialists, architects, and engineers.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in social ecology and environmental science from the University of California at Irvine. He is a member of the American Planning Association, Association of Environmental Professionals, Building Industry Association, and the Urban Land Institute.
