As vice president and director of community development in southern California, Deanna leads a team known for exceptional client service, custom solutions, and a successful record of meeting fierce project deadlines. She provides project oversight, workload coordination, personnel management, and training, and acts as a client and agency liaison. Deanna is well versed in the particular issues facing southern California and the changing growth and infrastructure demands of the region.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, Deanna has played a key role in the successful delivery of a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. With a knack for clearly communicating technical concepts and issues for public comprehension, Deanna is particularly valued for her contribution on projects that include complex technical analyses and controversial public policy and planning issues. Deanna has worked with clients including the County of Kern, Port of Long Beach, City of Los Angeles, Fresh and Easy, March Joint Powers Authority, Pardee Homes, and Caruso Affiliated.
Deanna has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from the California State University at Fullerton. She completed the Certificate Program for Non-Professional ESOP Fiduciaries at the UC San Diego Rady School of Management. Deanna is on the board of the Santa Monica College Foundation, and she is a member of the California Association of Environmental Professionals and the American Planning Association.
