As senior vice president and chief operating officer, Brian’s understanding of our clients’ environmental needs, coupled with proven leadership and sound business management, will propel technical excellence and integrated solutions. He leads strategic growth through effective business operations and an unwavering commitment to client service.

Brian brings over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting, professional archaeology, and the financial industry. A recognized expert in Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, he has worked on more than 300 cultural resource projects and directed complex environmental work on high-profile projects in the West. As a former District Office Chief for Cultural Resources Studies with the California Department of Transportation District 4, Brian brings extensive knowledge of environmental and cultural resources documentation, mitigation, and monitoring for transportation projects.

Brian is a professional archaeologist and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in anthropology from the University of California at Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies from the California State University, Sacramento.
